The weather gave us an early scare, but once the rain moved on, the crew and competitors got down to the business of executing one of the best events I've ever seen. FemFlex is already onboard with a sponsorship pledge for 2009, so I'm really excited about what the next year will bring in the growth of this great event. Way to go, Nancy - you're the tops. Aug 07: I'm driving up to Vancouver for this weekend's annual FemSport competition. Due to injuries and scheduling conflicts, we have no athletes in the event this year, but I'll be there filming and cheering on the other athletes. Good friend and IFBB pro, Sandra Wickham is promotion the CBBF Fitness & Figure Nationals in Vancouver this weekend as well, so this will be Ground Zero in the femuscle universe for the next 72 hours. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to Sandra's biggest show ever, but Simon will be present and I hope he'll be able to generate some great material there. Sponsored by the guys at Unreal Muscle, this was our biggest and best MM yet. Although I do not have a comprehensive list in front of me at this time, we had a solid week of shooting. I was generally impressed with our numbers and our model selection, as always, was top shelf. I'm disappointed that we missed out on the 3rd-place lightweight, but we got everyone else on our wish list from the bodybuilding competition. Our figure numbers are smaller than usual, but we just had less access to them, I'm afraid. There were a number of house-related issues that put me behind schedule from Day One, but thankfully, Mike, Rick, Jeff, and Sean were there to pick up the slack for me. Thanks also to Ibby who handled the stills on the Christine Sabo shoot for us.
