Jamie and I go way back, but that friendship in no way biases me towards her when it comes to competition. She was the clear winner of the tall class at the 2005 Canadian Fitness Championships, but was somehow relegated to second place by the esteemed judging panel. I'm sure the woman who was given the title - and subsequently the pro card - is a really nice and sweet person, but neither her physique nor routine has the ability to be competitive on the next level and she was no comparison to Jamie. This will go down as yet another placement decision that has zero justification whatsoever.
Jamie, you're da bomb and I know you'll kick ass at this year's North Americans. Go get 'em!
