I'm still a relative newbie in the photography game, but I've done this long enough to know that there are some real gems in the business. Tina Jo is one such woman.
Despite the lengths you may go to in order to keep several things on a schedule, stuff will always come up. No excuses, I was *very* late for my appointment with Tina Jo (well beyond the standard 15-minute allowance) and I was disappointed in myself and felt badly for her. But to her credit, she'd committed herself to me until a certain hour and she was going to make good on her end of the bargain, regardless of whether I upheld mine.
When I finally arrived, we exchanged greetings and then got right down to business. I don't like extended apologies and Tina Jo wasn't interested in hearing any, so that worked out great for both of us. She accepted my quick mea culpa and we got to work. And boy, did we work!
I took her to my usual starting place and she had no trouble at all making the climb with me. But after working for no more than 15 minutes or so, the park ranger came and booted us. He didn't issue a ticket, but instead put my name in 'the book', meaning I would be cited for any future violations. After all I'd been through just to get there, I was pretty miffed and after putting Tina Jo through such a long wait, she could've been really upset if she'd chosen to be, but we both just shook it off and went in search of another place to play.
The secondary spot wasn't quite as nice, but we were able to shoot without further interruption, and though our time was short, we did manage to grab some nice shots in the process.
Tina Jo is the consummate professional and she went well above and beyond the call of duty to make this a very memorable experience for me. She's a beautiful model, she's fun the interact with, she's got an incredible physique, and she's got attitude for days (the good kind!) in front of the camera. I'm glad there's only one Tina Jo, but if all the female physique models out there were as confident and as proud of their muscle as she is, this world would be a much better place.
Thanks for such an awesome shoot, Tina Jo - I look forward to doing it again very soon.
